Computer Programming
Students are introduced to the basics of computer programming using the Python programming language to create simple games and animations as well as solve problems with the computer.
Raspberry Pi Robots
Students will learn how to build, program, and operate robots with a Raspberry Pi computer. Students will use robots to traverse complex mazes, solve math problems, and respond to commands from his or her laptop.
Hands-On Engineering
Students will explore engineering concepts by designing, building, and testing structures and vehicles with simple materials.
Character Development
Boost Kids! is certified to teach The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens curriculum. BK! Believes: “Character is destiny!” So we devote a portion of class time to character development with an emphasis on developing habits which promote maturity, responsibility and success.
